Copywriting fee for creating content for a brand new website ranges from $1,750 to $3,500 and up. Final cost is determined by the number of pages, subject matter, timeline, amount of information available, extent of research required, etc.
Copywriting for one web page of well-written, substantial content for search engines ranges from $350 to $500 (up to 400 words). Fee varies, depending on number of words, SEO requirements, nature of content, amount of research required, timeline, etc. For technical subjects, web copy starts from $400 and up per page.
For website content creation, it's common to work on a project fee which will lower the average cost per web page.
Business copywriting rates
Online articles - from $350 to $500 and up (rates can be negotiated for regular and volume work). Cost varies according to complexity of topic, extent of research, length of article, etc. SEO or search engine optimised articles cost more, depending on number of keywords and article length.
